First 961 Underground Journey started with the idea in making a documentary titled “961 Underground” The Rise of Lebanese HipHop [trailer can be seen on http://youtu.be/Iej_xpLTaNI] (Documentary Hasn’t been released yet) back in 2002 to capture the Hiphop movement with all it’s elements (MC, DJ, Producing, Beatbox, Graffiti and Breaking) and mostly people i personally worked with and not the whole Scene.

 

I am not affiliated or represent “961 Beer” nor the “961 Bboy Krew”.

 

Just to be clear I love, respect, support and DJ for the “961 Break Crew” and “all other” Break Crews and Culture across Lebanon from North to South, East to West and the entire region with no restrictions, and that’s the essence of what 961 Underground is all about, it’s not about the Sect, religion, colour or Beleive it’s a Platform that breaks the walls and unite all the mentioned on One Platform.

P.S: 961 stand for the country code of Lebanon, and Underground is where we all started and always be part of despite the international and over ground activites and sounds that all of us in this platform did Regionally and Internationally, Underground is the place we will never forget this is where it all started and always enjoy the most to express our voices……….
